Option A: Many technology startups offer employees stock options that become valuable only if the company performs well.
A company's performance is not always directly linked to productivity , like it can perform well through greater sales , better profit margin etc. even if productivity is low.

However I thought option B suggest long working hours can lead to higher productivity with greater output and startups having less number of employees due to frequent turnover.

Kindly explain if I am overthinking or thinking in a wrong way.

There is a gap in B. Longer hours might contribute to output, but it doesn't explain why productivity remains high despite the lack of job security.
