I do agree that MIT does not have a diverse set of recruiters, that could be a reason they were dinged. MIT has only the few consulting firms, the tech giants and a couple of companies from Boston neighborhood (very few finance companies) hiring-unlike other schools which has a rather diverse recruiter base.
Columbia and Yale gain recruitment only from the Ivy status and sponsored students (for Columbia), but they don’t have the deep recruitment that a Booth (outside of S/H/W), Stern, Michigan, Kellogg, and even Duke.
