Why should we consider duplicate elements in combined set?
Doesn't matter, in a set of consecutive integers, the standard deviation will be negligible. The only thing that can increase or decrease the standard deviation is whether the lists consists of numbers that are close to each other or not, and since it is not specified, it will be impossible to get a singular answer so E.
