Hi,
Im currently planning on doing an MBA in marketing from a tier 1 B school and preferably in Canada or Australia
But im unable to find whether im wligible for admission to any tier 1 B School. My brief profile is
10th :: 84%
12th :: 70%
Engineering :: 7.00 CGPA
I have completed my btech in 2014 but it took me 8 years to complete as i had to leave the course after 3rd year due to a family trauma.
Since 2014 im employed in a reputed Government sector Bank as a manager and i have work experience in Treasury and Forex Dealings as well as retail banking along with a few certifications in risk management and foreign exchange from IIBF.
I have taken a few mock gmat prep tests with an avg score of 710 and im confident that i can score atleast that much in GMAT.
Kindly clarify on whether im eligible to apply for a tier 1 b school or not.

Hi there,
If your only concern is graduating in 8 years instead of regular, I'm sure this wouldn't be an issue. You will however, need to use an additional essay option to explain the extenuating circumstances so that adcoms don't hold it against you. Barring this issue it will depend on your profile. Your GMAT score, undergrad GPA, work ex, extra curricular activities and so on. I'm sure with a 710+ GMAT score you can target Ivey, Rotman and Schulich for sure.
