Ok, so I have a problem with my email settings. (My profile->settings->e-mail settings)
When I try to deactivate the option of being notified on comments and save the changes, it turns back to yes.

How do I turn this option off?

Oh. That's not good. Let me check.

Update: There is indeed some issue that keeps crapping out.
P.S. By the way, this is for the Profile Comments - this is NOT a setting for the forum replies/post notifications. Are these you were hoping to turn off?

thank you. It is indeed the profile comments. I have already found the settings that turns off alerts when there are replies.

Cool! Sounds good. I am trying to switch to the new Notifications system: faq-on-gmat-club-notifications-177038.html

Though it is not perfect yet with Forum Subscriptions (but works great for replies and other stuff)

That's a deceiving setting actually.... that setting is actually burried in each topic. See the screenshot below. When you disable it in the control panel/profile, it disables that check box for future ones. The current ones (that have that check box are still delivered). Sorry, that's how the software was built. Your options are not to visit that topic (you won't receive additional notifications) or go and uncheck that on your posts/previous replies.

I will check with the developers if they can offer some kind of a solution but it has been a nuance from day one.
