I have an engineering background with Bachelor and Master in EE. I got an EMBA admission offer from Ross and Kellogg. I have to fly for both locations. My company is funding me. Unfortunately, my Business Unit will cease to exist in 3 years - sometimes in 2026 so I need to look for a new job. My desired outcome from EMBA is to become a better leader and find a new (better) job. I will be looking for extensive career support and like to stay on tech side. Appreciate input on picking right school, Ross or Kellogg, Kellogg Evanston or Kellogg Miami. Traveling 2x/month seems exhaustive with FT job and 3 kids.

Logistics is important with EMBA and with a FT job you want to enjoy it and not dread it. My recommendation would be to attend the biggest program in class size and cohort. Your classmates will be your strongest and most rewarding network. They will refer you or help you get a job. Ideally more of them will be company sponsored but all connections are good.
Generally the more selective EMBA is the better but as you realize yourself logistics and location are often trumping rank or other considerations so you will find amazing classmates in every program.
I would also consider the campus not only based on class size and location but focus - Miami is Latin America focus most likely so the network may be a bit different.
PS. There is some value being on the main campus but I feel sometimes it is overstated. Access to resources such as library or speaker series are nice but how much will you use them 2x a month?

Hello there! I understand working FT and studying is'nt that enlightening. But then why don't you opt for the Part-time MBA with UOWD? The subject offering at the University of Wollongong in Dubai is aligned with UOW Sydney Business School, so that students across campuses can collaborate in their learning and gain the global experience. This provides the students the global experience of working across time zones and cultures, like they would experience working in a multinational company. Its worth your time and effort every bit of it.
