I was accepted into all three schools and need to make a decision soon. My motivation in pursuing an MBA is expanding my leadership ability and general management skills. I really like Fuqua and Ross, but I'm wondering if in 10 years I'll regret not going to the M7 school. Since I'm not looking for a disruptive change in my career (or even a new job immediately afterwards), how much do a few spots in the rankings matter?
Cost isn't much of a consideration as I have full sponsorship. All three schools have comparable travel requirements, so that isn't a big factor either.
Any thoughts?
Since all three are the same in terms of travel and cost, I would say Kellogg unless there is a definite reason you don't like the program (or like Fuqua or Ross more). My thinking is that if all factors are equal except for the rank/prestige factor, why not choose the better ranked program? Like you mentioned, it might help your career 10 years from now.
I also have heard Kellogg is extremely accommodating to students that travel in for the programs.
