Hi All, I am an international candidate fortunate to have gotten admits to two great FT MBA programs in the South. They're about the same COA, and I'm satisfied with the culture/location of both schools.
About me: Non-CS Engg. Background, Experience in analytics/data science for 5 years. Goal is to break into the Tech industry (Preferably Big Tech firms that can sponsor me), roles such as Biz-ops, corp strategy roles interest me, but I would also be gunning for PM roles.
After researching employment reports, talking to alumni, It feels like neither is a consistent feeder to the tech industry (Unlike some of the T25s like Tepper and Foster from which I have gotten rejects from) and the recruiting seems to be very self-driven. Owen sends about 10 people every year to Amazon (Out of a 160 class size) which is impressive, but hardly 1-2 to other firms. Tech isn't big at Goizueta, although it's presence is growing and a handful always seem to make it to big tech. Again, these sample sizes are really small to make a decision. So I was just wondering if there's any added perspective that folks here can provide? Basically, all things equal, which is better to break into Tech?
