Thanks bb! I agree Emory has an edge in the rankings historically. And this would be a no brainer for consulting. But for tech specifically, Vanderbilt has sent more % of students always despite Emory's increasing interest; the Amazon pipeline seems strong too. I haven't really seen consistent tech outcomes as such at Emory. Hence the uncertainty in weather I should forego marginally better outcomes for rankings.

Thank you abhimahna. What you said resonates with my conversations with current students. Emory getting STEM has only made my decision harder :p. Would you have any idea if the STEM tag in general enables 3 year OPT for business roles (such as biz-ops, corporate strategy or non-technical PM) in tech companies?

I believe you need to take some courses to qualify for STEM degree and then post MBA job should also meet some criteria. You might need to check with the school admission officers directly. Good Luck! :)
