Here's my deal, practicing attorney who kind of got screwed over a little bit with the contraction in the market. Have a few years WE and want to go back to school for an MBA in finance. What kind of grants/scholarships can you get with a 650 ish GMAT?

And I know from law schools how horrific the employment picture was. For an MBA, how likely is someone at a full-time program ranked 40-100 or so likely to end up unemployed? I want to work in finance (don't care about Wall Street) but do not have industry specific experience. How easily can I make this career change?

No one can answer that question for you. I know it sounds cliche but ultimately it is up to you to gain employment. If I were you, I would study harder on the GMAT and try to get at least a 670-680 as that should be enough to get you into top 30 programs.

It depends your choice of college. In IIMs, nearly every student is placed. In some low caliber colleges, no placements are there. But ultimately it is about your skills and managerial potential.

There could be many opportunities after MBA, however i personally feel employment is completely depends on your ability and your performance and also depends on the institute you choose.
