Isn't it mentioned in Stmt1: Each of the top2 sources generated over 30% total output?then Solar =660+ and Wind = 900+.
Then Stmt2 confirms less than 20% of total output comes from each of the Bottom3 sources
So my answer is C. Request experts to comment..

Even with both statements, we know only that the answer must be either Wind or Solar.

Statement (1) gives only lower limits:

Wind is more than 900.
Solar is more than 660.

But it does not tell us which one is larger in summer. For example, Wind could be 950 and Solar 1,000, or Wind could be 1,200 and Solar 700.

So we still cannot determine the single source that generated the most electricity during summer. Therefore, the answer is E, not C.
