Requirements:

GMAT : less than five years old. The minimum GMAT required is 600, with an average of 690 for the Class of 2012.

GRE: Taken on or after August 1, 2011. We strongly encourage candidates to submit a GRE score in or above the 65th percentile for the quantitative and verbal sections of the GRE.

TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, PTE - English is the only language required for admission. Non-native English speakers who do not hold a university degree from a university where English is the teaching language must submit test results showing English proficiency. These results must be less than two years old.

Hi faheem92,

As GMAT is a computer adaptive test the number of questions can greatly vary in both verbal and quant. But a rough estimate could be around 20 - 25 in Verbal and 34 - 40 in quant. Which questions you are getting correct is more important for your score than how many.

You may want to visit this post for more clarity on scoring patterns on the GMAT.

Hope this helps,
