I've noticed there's an error on page 323. It states the surface of an area is
Total surface area = areas of bases + LSA.
Then it reads
\(SA= 2(\pi)r^2 * 2(\pi)rh\)
instead it should read
\(SA= 2(\pi)r^2 + 2(\pi)rh\)
I went on the Kaplan publishing website to verify this error but realized 2011 edition is not yet posted. Did anyone else spot any more errors on this book by chance? I'm interested to know if anyone found anymore errors on this edition.

You are correct - indeed there is a typo (on page 324 it rewrites the formula correctly). It should be a "+" instead of "*"

P.S. I don't have a listing of their typos. I have sent a note to Kaplan representative.
