Hi guys,
I have been admitted to both ESADE and HEC MBA programs for September 2020 intake.
I have already a strong preference towards one of the two schools and I am very likely to accept their admission letter next Monday, but I would love to hear your opinions to check if I took in consideration all the elements in my choice.

Here is my background info:
Male, Italian, 29y
MSc In Chem Eng, graduated cum laude
GMAT: 750 (Q48, V45)
Work Experience: 4,5 years in manufacturing, both in operations and quality, in three different EU countries
Languages: Italian, English, Spanish
Post MBA goals: Marketing/Sales/Business in Tech or FMCG industry in Europe. I would love to get in a Leadership Programme in those fields.

That's nice to hear. I would recommend HEC as I know about it. They are well reputed in Europe and you will have a good chance considering your manufacturing background. You can get many opportunities to prove your leadership in HEC by MBAT, ST. CYR, projects, industry and marketing treks, etc.

Congrats. I am slightly biased but I would pick ESADE. ESADE is especially known for tech /marketing and you truly can’t beat Barcelona. However, both are great schools so I think it comes down to what you value most. Below is a quick comparison

ESADE
+29% in technology
+31% marketing and sales
+198 student or so
+ Barcelona - more affordable city on the MED.
- lower ranked but still high
+Lower tuition
-Lower incomes in employment report, may be skewed due to high number that go to Spain/Latin America and or startups. According to FT 3 year USD PPP ESADE has slightly higher average though.
+known for collaboration, diversity and fun. Generally alums loves their time and I hear very minimal complaints.

HEC
-17% in technology
-11% go marketing and sales
-Bigger - almost 300 students.
-Paris - more expensive but it’s Paris.
+ higher ranked and better regarded in traditional industry (consulting/finance).
+ Higher incomes on employment report
