ESCP MiM Vs HHL MiM (Help needed) 23 Feb 2025, 05:14

I got an admit from both the schools for their MiM and I’m a little confused regarding which to choose. ESCP has a better presence in EU and ranks amongst top 10 schools but what i dont get is how HHL graduates get higher pay after 3 years of graduation than ESCP students.

Can someone pls help me choose where should i go as ESCP is really expensive when compared to HHL.
My main goal is to get into consulting. I also will be sponsoring my studies through a student loan so I am looking for a university that will give me good ROI and solid recognition as an alumni.

I got an admit from the ESCP Paris campus btw.

The shortest answer will be choose where you want to work post grad, the hardest answer will be can you learn the language along the way.
You said it right ESCP has better reputation, but German Market pays more than most European countries so the difference. However, German language is something you need to learn to survive in a consulting job, if you want to work in Germany, the same goes for French. Language is crucial in EU market.

So, totally your call, where you want to go post grad.

Congratulations for ESCP and HHL admits.

German market pays more than any other European Nation, so that is the primary reason to salary difference.

Consulting as a career in EU where you have to manage the domestic clients, you would need to learn the language. Before joining any program, you have to be sure in terms of where you would like to see yourself in the midterm and longterm.

Even if you choose ESCP, you can always look for corporate roles in Germany. Reputation of both programs in Europe is great but there is a-major difference in the Cost of Attendance. Make an informed decision and choose the best option for you.
