Hi EMPOWERgmatRichC ,
First of all, thanks for the response

1) On what date did you take your Official GMAT? Was this your first attempt or have you taken the Official GMAT more than once?
-------------> 26-Aug-21,1st attempt

2) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
--------->i started my preparation in February, may be 14 hrs a week because i didn't really track after my second mock for two months i was lax in my preparation

3) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
--------->official guides , Manhattan sentence correction , Power score CR bible, referred you tube videos of RON, Gmat Ninja, Veritas Prep

--------->Mocks - official (including exams 3,4,5,6), MGMAT (paid)
--------->Gmat club Test series

4) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)? We need to be specific with this information; score 'ranges' are not what I'm asking about.

--------->March 03 GMAT Prep Mock 1 - Q48 V33 660
--------->April 03 GMAT Prep Mock 2 - Q47 V28 620
--------->June 29 GMAT Prep Mock 1 Repeat - Q50 V37 710
--------->July 04 MGMAT 1 - Q44 V34 640
--------->July 08 GMAT Prep Mock 2 Repeat - Q49 V38 710
--------->July 18 GMAT Prep Mock 3 - Q49 V33 680
--------->July 25 MGMAT 2 - Q42 V36 640
--------->Aug 01 MGMAT 3 - Q47 V34 670
--------->Aug 08 GMAT Prep Mock 4 - Q50 V38 730
--------->Aug 15 GMAT Prep Mock 5 - Q48 V37 700
--------->Aug 22 GMAT Prep Mock 6 - Q49 V31 670

5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
--------->NUS , NTU -- both in January round 2
--------->ISB round 2 in December but I'm not sure i can complete application in such a short time
--------->Apart from this i also have two 1 year programs in my target list but yet to decide

Hope this helps

Hi Root27,

I'm sorry to hear about how things went with your GMAT. I think this biggest takeaway from the information you have provided (even more so than your ESR) is that your studying seems to have been a bit random. Yes, you scored well on your GMAT mocks; however, it may be the case that you had more weaknesses than you were aware of and those weaknesses were exposed on test day. So, regarding how to move forward, I have two important articles for you to check out:
