Hi!
I took the GMAT last week in the test center and I'm planning to retake it at the end of December.
My target score is 680, but at this point I would accept anything over 650.
I was feeling quite confident due to my scores on the official mocks:
Q49, V31, 660
Q45, V38, 680
Q45, V39, 690
Q45, V34 650
Q49, V40 720
But on the real exam I got Q45 and a brutal V28, thus a total of 610 (!!).
I felt that Quant was completely different than that during my practice: harder and more intricate questions, surprisingly often containing concepts that I rarely saw in the official mocks and OGs.
Verbal didn't seem very hard, or at least not too different than what I was used with. I did rush on or quick-guessed some questions but.. nothing very clear on the spot that could make me understand why such an incredibly low score.
The environment in the center was alright, I only experienced some differences in the tools I was using: the pens were erasable and thick, the screen and the format were huge and uncomfortable, but other than that, nothing surprised me.
Of course I cancelled the scores and bought an ESR, but I really don't know how to analyze it.
I could really use some help with its evaluation and with some suggestions on what to do next!
I am planning to use
Forum Quiz and.. to retake official mocks 1 and 2?
Many thanks
