Hi beeblebrox,
If you take the GMAT at a Test Center, then you can purchase the Enhanced Score Report afterwards (regardless of whether you keep your Score or 'cancel' it). Unfortunately, the ESR is not available if you take the At-home version of the GMAT. While the ESR doesn’t provide a lot of information, there are usually a few data points that we can use to define how you performed on the Official Exam. If you scored significantly lower than you were scoring on your practice CATs/mocks (or significantly lower than your Goal Score), then that additional information can be quite helpful in defining what went wrong on Test Day (and what you should work on to score higher).
If you have purchased the ESR, then I'll be happy to analyze it for you. Assuming that you've taken the GMAT - and want to retake it - then it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
4) What is your overall goal score?
