Has anyone else felt a correlation between school's essay topics and their fit with the school or desire to go to the school? I'm starting to see a trend where I'm for the most part happy with the questions of the schools I want to attend and feel good about being able to answer them. On the other hand, for some of the schools I'm not planning to apply to, I'm glad I don't have to answer their essay prompts. I'm starting to think that a school's essay topics says a lot about the school itself and the kind of students it looks for.

I completely agree with this. I haven't started writing but as soon as I see the questions for the schools I want to attend I know what all needs to go in...Ideas seem to flow for others which I am not completely sure of I really have to strain my brain for ideas. But it could also be partly because u know who you want to impress more :D
