Congratulations!

getting a scholarship is huge!
I would definitely consider the ESCP

One challenge with moving around Europe is that recruiting takes a hit. Makes it for a fun time at school but recruiting is a pain. Does the school provide any recruiting event?

Doing an apprenticeship, is a huge value in my view on the path to getting a job and I would almost prioritize, it over travel and getting a 50% scholarship… unless, of course, you feel confident and comfortable that you will score a job after ESCP.

Sorry, merging the 2 topics together - I thought they were from the same person so forgive my merging skills but this may benefit both of you - perhaps you connect?

purbita and ooohlala

P.S. I have heard ESCP was much easier to get in. Would you agree about that? If so, the more selective program is usually better.

Why do you say that international student mobility affects employability negatively? Isn’t studying in a different country a testament of your adaptability skills?

Sure. Good question. I think the reality is when an employer in London or Frankfurt or Paris is looking for their employee, "adaptability" is pretty low on their list of requirements. Which I would argue that most don't even consider it all beyond trying to see how you would fit in with existing team/company culture - e.g. too disruptive, etc. I have a lot of international background and language skills and I have not had much use for them within the US. Maybe I am in the wrong line of business, but my employer did not really care about much besides - can I do the job they would give me or do I have the skills and demonstrated ability. Employer wants to hire the person who has already been doing this job to minimize training. They want demonstrated ability and if that's a recent grand, then they would prefer an intern and someone from a program/school with high selectivity. You want the employer to recognize the name of the University.

On the other hand when you spend one trimester in Paris, another in Warsaw, and a third one in XYZ, you have a great time traveling, exploring culture, being a tourist, it is totally awesome but there is a trade off between travel & fun and working hard to build a network and focusing on finding a job. Often travel and job are at a conflict.
