Hi guys!! I have been admitted to both ESSEC (Cergy) and LSE (London), but I really do not know what choice to make. I speak English very well, but my French skills are low. However, there is no doubt that I would be studying French if ultimately choosing ESSEC. I don't even know whether to choose London over Paris, I am so confused! Which university would you chose for Finance and why? What do you think in terms of brand of the school for Finance? I think that LSE may be better in terms of brand, but I do not understand why I cannot find it in any ranking for MSc Finance (for instance, it is never mentioned in the one by the Financial Times).
Thank you

Hi Anna,
hard choice, I think that if brand is a priority and something really important especially in a international perspective LSE>>>ESSEC
Claerly this change a lot if you desire to work in France, in this case they are on par or even ESSEC>LSE.
About the ranking thing... LSE is so prestigious that these rankings do not matter at all, at least this is what I understood.
In general for Finance I would give importance to the brand as well as to the curriculum. LSE is very recognized for their rigor but their curriculum is definitely better for people who already hold experience in Finance even brief, but relevant. While the ESSEC curriculum is much wider and would allow you to take another internship.
