what is the probability that the first digit and the last digit are each equal to 1 more than the middle digit

total 199 - 100 + 1 = 100 integers

there is only one such integer 101

so prob is 1/100 or D

There are 100 numbers between 100 and 199 inclusive.
there is only one number such that its first and last digits are 1 greater than the middle digit. (101)

so that's 1/100

as per the Q there is only one combination (101) which leads to the probability 1/100 i.e D
