I am aiming to go to UCLA/NYU/Columbia -Early Decision

26 yrs old, White Male

GMAT: 710 (91st percentile)
Quant: 47 (65th percentile)
Verbal 40 (91st percentile)
IR: 6
AWA: 6

Undergrad: Accounting degree from top state school
Undergrad GPA: 3.7
Master of accounting GPA: 3.8
CPA

Work Experience: 3+ years in financial consulting at one of the big 4
Career Aspirations: Work in Media/Entertainment industry

Hi - looks like you have solid academics and work experience! Given your demographic, applying as early as possible for these schools is the way to go. Are you involved in (or have you been in the past) activities outside of work and during college?

I played on a few club sport teams in college and am involved with some community service programs outside of work. Specifically working with underprivileged high-schoolers to help prepare them for college.

Additionally i plan on applying in round 1 for all schools

Great! From the info I have, it seems that you're a solid candidate for these schools. To maximize your chances of success: 1. make sure your recommenders can attest to your strong performance and potential (especially vs. peers - there are a decent number of applicants each year from the big accounting/consulting firms, so this will help you stand out) 2. conduct thorough research on each program (including talking to students, alumni, and others in the community) so that you can make a strong case in your applications for why you're a good fit for each program
