Hi there,

Sure thing, it's all about giving yourself various options, if possible... as long as any school you apply to, you know you would actually consider attending if it were the only acceptance! I do think Wharton will be a stretch. But again if you are spreading out your apps among tiers etc and want to give it a shot you can. In terms of the pairs you mentioned... not sure I follow the "pairing" per se but Kenan Flagler would be closer to a safety school; Haas is still pretty selective with a smaller class size. Yale and Anderson may be on par thereabouts. With any, be sure you really do your research and identify and specify WHY you feel that program is the best fit for you!! Can help your chances overall to do so. Finally keep in mind 7 schools in one round is a bit ambitious... up to you and your time etc, but each app can be quite different and may involve extra essays etc, and you do need to show a fit with each school. Plus your recommenders need to complete that many recs too! So just keep that in mind and pace yourself-- don't sacrifice your app quality just to get to a higher quantity of schools-- each app should look like it's the ONLY one submitted-- to each school it is!!

Good luck!
