Everyone who is excessively generous is not levelheaded, and no one who is levelheaded is bold.
Excessive generous - Group A.
Levelheaded- Group- B
Bold- Group C
From statement A and B don't have any intersection.
and B and C also don't have any intersection.
Now possibilities are,
1. all A are C
2. all C are A
3. A and C have intersection.
4. A and C also don't have any intersection.
From given choices, A, B, C are out.
Now option D, If someone is levelheaded, then that person is neither bold nor excessively generous.
A person belong to group B can't belong to neither group A and group C.
Keep it.
E) If someone who is not levelheaded, then that person is either bold or excessively generous
A person not belonging to group B can be from group A or group B or from both.
the both condition is missing here.
Therefore, E is defeated to option D.
D is correct choice.
Excessive generous - Group A.

I believe we can better understand this if we use conditional reasoning diagram:
1) Everyone who is excessively generous is not levelheaded (G--> not L); contrapositive is (L--> not G)
2) no one who is levelheaded is bold (L--> not B)
from both statements, we can infer that L--> not B and not G (which is answer choice C).
A) Everyone who is excessively generous is not bold. (G--> not B), we cannot infer from the given statements
B) Everyone who is not bold is excessively generous. (not B --> G), we cannot infer from the given statements
C) No one who is not bold lacks excessive generosity. (not B--> G), we cannot infer from the given statements
D) If someone is levelheaded, then that person is neither bold nor excessively generous. (L--> not B and not G) CORRECT ANSWER
E) If someone who is not levelheaded, then that person is either bold or excessively generous. (not L --> B or G) mistaken reversal
