Evidence about the activities of the Maya has been gathered through archeological excavations although they may never be completely authenticated because of difficulties in applying carbon dating tests to the fragile remains of the ancient civilization.

a. Maya has been gathered through archeological excavations although they --- 'they' is a sub-pronoun error

b Maya, gathered through archeological excavations, but it -- A fragment of a sentence. The subject evidence has no verb

c. Maya has been gathered through archeological excavations but -- the best

d. Maya, although gathered through archeological excavations, it-- a blanket fragment.

e. Maya has been gathered through archeological excavations, which -- misuse of the pronoun 'which'' to refer to excavations.

Evidence about the activities of the Maya has been gathered through archeological excavations although they may never be completely authenticated because of difficulties in applying carbon dating tests to the fragile remains of the ancient civilization.

a. Maya has been gathered through archeological excavations although they
b Maya, gathered through archeological excavations, but it (Lack of main verb in the sentence)
c. Maya has been gathered through archeological excavations but (Correct)
d. Maya, although gathered through archeological excavations, it (Same as B)
e. Maya has been gathered through archeological excavations, which (It is evidence not excavations may never be completely authenticated)
