Hi all,
As I browse through this forum, I can't help but remember my time preparing for the GMAT / my MBA applications. I ended up going to INSEAD and had a fantastic time there (this was already 8 years ago - time flies!). After INSEAD, I joined McKinsey for about 4 years where I left as a Sr. EM and interviewer for the firm.
From my experience, the PEI (Personal Experience Interview) is THE most mis-understood step of the McKinsey application process. People tend to over-prepare for business cases, and end up struggling with the PEI. Which is really a shame because you can avoid all of the pitfalls with great practice
That being said, I am happy to coach people for a 30-40 min session by role-playing a PEI interview and giving them feedback afterwards. Few conditions though:
1. Will only be able to coach a limited number of people (10 people max) given my other time commitments
2. I give priority to people actually applying to McKinsey in the next 6 months. This offer is less helpful for Bain / BCG / other firms which I am less familiar with.
Feel free to send me a DM and I will be in touch with a Calendly link. And yes, it's completely free.
Cheers
A.
