hi guys..
so i took my first crack at gmat on 9th of January, this year and took a hit with a score of 650(q49,v31).
so then i pulled up my socks and prepared hard.
just 2 days after my gmat, i took the free
mgmat, and scored a 670 (q45, v36). I was happy with my improvement on verbal but very disturbed about my quant score but when i searched online, i found out that
mgmat has a tougher quant section, so i decided not to worry too much about it.
i then started with og for verbal. i finished SC and CR in there and then i exhausted sc
mgmat too and am half way through the cr part of it. i had decided to practice RC as well, but i didn't get as much practice under my belt as i would have liked.
then i took veritas prep and scored a 690 (q47,v37) ... again depressed about my quant score.
after that i took kaplan free diagnostic test. they don't tell the scaled score so it just said: 700.
and then i took gmat prep 2 .. reattempt and got a 740 (q49,v41).
after that i started timing all my practice questions as well and have been doing sectionals.
but i feel like maybe i concentrated a bit too much on verbal and may have lost my grip on quant. i will take a kaplan section to find out exactly how much.
my plan for this week is to reattempt my
error log for both verbal and quant and do 3-4 RCs every day to get into the groove of it.
PLEASE SUGGEST ANY OTHER USEFUL REVISION IDEAS.
also, what do you recommend i take along with me as snacks between the exam, because i do feel hungry during the exam.
any help would be appreciated. thank you.
