Hi, i am sahil. I am going to appear for GMAT test on 20th August. This is a very short time given the poor marks i am scoring in mock test. i scored a poor 21 and 25 marks in verbal in my 2 mock test so far. i am good in quant though with 44. Can i score a 35 in verbal by practicing everyday 6-7 hours? I am facing difficulties in reading comprehension. Please suggest me good book for RC so that i can refer and get a competitive score. Also please help me with strategy for the next 20 days to prepare for the exam. I am working very hard on various topics to get a score near 700. wpuld you advice to postpose my gmat exam or will i be able to crack it after following your advice.

I would recommend postponing your test to give yourself a bit more comfort and less anxiety to reach your verbal goals. For reading, perhaps a video walk-through such as this one would be helpful for you:

Given your general score goal, and the practice score data you've provided, you will have to make some big improvements to how you handle BOTH the Quant and Verbal sections. Unfortunately, 3 weeks really isn't enough time to improve that much (you'll likely need another 2-3 months of consistent, guided study to get up to that level).
Before I can offer you the specific advice that you're looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
1) How long have you studied?
2) What materials have you used?
3) How have you scored on each of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?
4) What is your exact goal score?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
6) What Schools are you planning to apply to?
