Hi Guys,

This may seem like a simple question but it's late and I can't seem to figure it out. I'm hoping you guys can help me out.

How do I calculate Equity Value for company X using P/E multiple with data from two comparable companies? I figured out the P/E multiple for the two comps, but can't figure out how to apply that to get Equity Value for company X

Hello Estefanchanning,

Do you have any particular question or problem set to be solved. If you can provide that I can explain.

Best Regards,

Pramod

Thank you. The question asks: "Estimate COMPANY X's equity value using P/E multiple from the chart." The chart gives me P/E multiple of 8.1x, 6.2x, and 7.4x. COMPANY X has 2.7 million outstanding shares.
