Executive Assessment Exam – Possible to Prepare in One Week? Now that many of the top Executive MBA programs accept the Executive Assessment exam and candidates are convinced they are not at a disadvantage in taking this much-easier-to-prepare-for test rather than the GMAT or GRE, many EMBA candidates are excited about the range of top business schools they may have access to after taking the Executive Assessment exam and securing a good score.
But a question I hear frequently is this: “How long do you need to prepare for the Executive Assessment?”
GMAC, the makers of the Executive Assessment exam, indicates that extensive preparation should not be necessary because the exam tests skills you will have already acquired on the job.
Many of our candidates here at
MBA Admit.com indicate they only studied for approximately 8-10 hours and they achieved scores in the 150-162 range. Several of the top-5 EMBA programs have indicated informally that 150 (or higher) is their desired score, but we at
MBA Admit.com have seen candidates get into top schools like Columbia Business School’s EMBA Saturday program with as low as a 141 Executive Assessment score and a quant of 7.
Looking for resources to practice as you prepare? The GMAT offers practice questions and an Integrated Reasoning practice tool for a bundle price of $50.
