Hi all ! This is Nikhil (Nikkz99). I am actually thinking to give GMAT a shot coming year. What I came to know is that there's change in the syllabus when it comes to the Focus edition and there's reduction of exam duration. Can anyone help me out with my following doubts,

i.) What are the topics that one can prepare from the existing GMAT syllabus?

ii.) Are there any "special" topics that I shouldn't take for granted / least concerned about?

iii.) For a currently working professional ( majority would be) is there any study plan schedule which I can look into?

iv.) What would be the new 650 - 710 scoring for Focus edition? Any guesstimate?

Thank You in advance / Dhanyawad

Hi Nikkz99,

1. Everything except SC and geometry (and AWA). You may need some basic geometry though.

2. Integrated Reasoning, which is now part of Data Insights. All three sections (DI, quant, and verbal) are weighted equally.
