I recently completed an online exam, and the following are some of my thoughts:
The online experience was satisfactory; the proctor had to open the browser three times, but everything was completed within 10-15 minutes. The only difficulty was the proctor's accent, which was difficult to understand at first and gave me some anxiety.
Difficulty - I've read quite a bit about "different" and more challenging Q questions on this site. This was not the case today; questions were simple, straightforward, and not uncommon. The preliminary score was 48, which was greater than any simulated test.
It was different with Verbal; I had the impression that this portion would be much more difficult than usual, and I quickly ran out of time; this portion was a nightmare for me today. The score was 31, which was 3-4 points lower than usual.
During AWA, there were a lot of technical troubles; bits of the text would disappear from time to time, lines would be pushed higher, and so on. In general, I was unconcerned about the AWA, but I can see how it may be a huge issue for others.
In conclusion, I obtained a preliminary score of 650, which was exactly my goal; I just hope the actual result does not reflect this.
