E.

A. Passage doesn't say anything about landing.
B. Pilots in general mentioned, plus no idea about popularity.
C. No info on this.
D. No info on this either.
E. Passage talks about experienced pilots not respecting the wind, because ultra light planes would be difficult to handle in the wind. So this is correct.
AgarwalArpit20
Experienced pilots often have more trouble than novice pilots in learning to fly the newly developed ultra-light airplanes. Being accustomed to heavier aircraft, experienced pilots, when flying ultra-light craft, seem not to respect the wind as much they should.

The passage implies that the heavier aircraft mentioned above are

A. harder to land than ultra-light aircraft
B. not as popular with pilots as ultra-light aircraft
C. not as safe as ultra-light aircraft
D. more fuel-efficient than ultra-light aircraft
E. easier to handle in wind than ultra-light aircraft

A. harder to land than ultra-light aircraft We do not know what impact the wind has on landing. For instance, if wind has no impact, then not respecting the wind would not make any difference to the heavier aircraft. But the passage tells us that they find lighter aircraft more difficult. Eliminate.

B. not as popular with pilots as ultra-light aircraft Too wide ranging a statement covering all pilots. The passage only talks about "experienced pilots". We cannot infer anything about the larger set. Eliminate.

C. not as safe as ultra-light aircraft As per pre-thinking, wind does not impact larger aircrafts as much. Basis this limited information, we can only infer the possibility of the opposite of this option being true. Eliminate.

D. more fuel-efficient than ultra-light aircraft Nothing about fuel usage in the passage. Eliminate.

E. easier to handle in wind than ultra-light aircraft Correct answer and consistent with our pre-thinking.
