Before you commit to an adaptive course, sign up for a few prep course trials and see which best meets your needs and studying style. A GMAT prep course is quite an investment, so be sure to research and be smart about how you choose one!

Hi grafgurke,

Most GMAT companies offer some type of free resources (practice problems, Trial Accounts, videos, etc.) so that you can "test out" a product before you buy it. As such, you should take advantage of all the various options, then select the one that best matches your personality, timeline and budget.

With a 550, you're not that far away from a 620+, but you have to have enough time to learn some new tactics AND practice them enough so that they become a natural part of how you see (and respond to) the GMAT.

i was very satisfied with optimus prep's on demand course. and in case you are not sure, just take their free trial account. ;-)
