Hi Sandeep,

If you took your last FULL-LENGTH CAT several MONTHS ago, then you really should think about taking another FULL CAT soon. We need to know how much progress you've made during your studies. Doing random questions or practice sets out of books is one of the ways to improve your skills, but we still need to know how you perform 'in context' of a full Test and there's only one real way to assess that - you have to take a FULL-LENGTH CAT. You might consider taking one on Sunday, then posting your scores here.

Dear Experts,

I solved OG 13 and here below is my chart of all 140 OG Sc questions . Please suggest how fair I am doing in verbal SC to score 700 +

(my quant score is 50)

No of Questions Incorrect % Correct
1--40 2 95
41--80 8 80
81--120 9 77.5
120-140 5 75

Thanks
Sandeep Sharma

You cannot map your OG accuracy to a Verbal score. You must take a full length test and that will tell you where you stand right now.

Note that a practice test is not a "test" per say; it is a part of preparation and should be viewed as such. You don't have to explain a low practice test score to anyone and it should not undermine your confidence - in fact, it brings your weaknesses to the fore and helps you improve before you take the actual test. You learn much more from a low practice score. So quit procrastinating and take a test!

Hello Sandeep,

It is essential that you take more practice exams. Although the Official Guide questions become progressively "difficult," it can't be said that they are 700 or 800 level questions. Your percentages indicate that you have a pretty good mastery of the content, but this is very different from taking the exam in its entirety. Many people are disappointed when they take full length mock tests under exam conditions because they are used to seeing 80 to 100 percent accuracy on isolated questions. The only indicator of your true performance will be practice tests.

Good luck!
