Please look up the above link.

It would be much better if you have included answer choices.

However, please look at the below solution.

2^x - 2^x * 2^-2 = 3 * 2^13

2^x (1 - 2^-2) = 3 * 2^13

2^x (1 - 1/4) = 3 * 2^13

2^x * 3/4 = 3 * 2^13

2^x * 1/4 = 2^13

2^x * 2^-2 = 2^13

Then it becomes 2^(x-2) = 2^13

Equal bases of 2

x - 2 = 13

X = 13 + 2 = 15

I hope this helps out!
