Hi all,
I have applied for and been granted extra time for ADHD and dyscalculia. I took the test once before and scored a 600. When I practice with extra time, as expected my accuracy goes up.
However, I have been reading that extra time did not necessarily help test takers with disabilities.
This leads me to the question. Does taking extra time somehow mean they also give you more difficult questions?
Is there any reason to believe that the test has been designed in this way?

When test-takers are given extra time to take the GMAT, the test is the same as it usually is except for the extra time. In other words, the questions are not more difficult than normal.
So, it's probably the case that the reason having extra time doesn't make much difference for some test-takers is that, as usual, GMAT questions are tricky and test people's analytical skills in challenging ways. So, having more time to answer them does not radically change the challenges of the GMAT.

Fair to say the understanding is that it is the same test but simply with added time. All the best on your next attempt.
