Hey guys,
I was doing all these CR problems on the forum and decided you may want to have some fun (to break out of monotony of same-style CRs...). I created one CR+DS hybrid question ( hope GMAC doesn't get any crazy ideas
).
Anyways, system of solving is the same as Quant DS.
Will post the answer later on. Enjoy!
Mayor of city X: If we want our economy to keep prospering, we need to keep building more hotels.
Citizens of city X: If you want our economy to keep prospering, we need to invest in other businesses.
Is citizen's claim justified?
(1) According to the recent research, number of tourists in City X is expected to increase by 25% within two months.
(2) In the last month's survey, tourists were asked to say what they would like to see added to the city, and top 3 choices were: new hotel, amusement park, and a new mall.
(A) Statement 1 alone is sufficient but statement 2 alone is not sufficient to answer the question asked.
(B) Statement 2 alone is sufficient but statement 1 alone is not sufficient to answer the question asked.
(C) Both statements 1 and 2 together are sufficient to answer the question but neither statement is sufficient alone.
(D) Each statement alone is sufficient to answer the question.
(E) Statements 1 and 2 are not sufficient to answer the question asked and additional data is needed to answer the statements.
