Sorry about the issue. Unfortunately, there are certain intervals and periods of time when GMAT prep seems to experience these types of issues. These are fairly rare and usually get fixed within about a week or two at most. I think it’s been about a year since we’ve had the last spat of GMAT prep outages and problems.

I think the bigger question is almost why are you taking GMAT prep? If all you want to see is marginal improvement. I think it’s a little bit wasteful to use it for Quandt if you ask me. I mean it’s your tests and you do what you want, but I tend to hoard official tests and have a special place for them so perhaps I’m a bit conservative. 😬🤷‍♂️

Hi Scandi00.

The question bank for official tests 1 and 2 is pretty large. So, if you reset the tests and retake, you'll see mostly new question in the quant section.

Also, quant sections of third-party practice tests tend to be pretty good. So, if you want to focus on quant only, you could use one of those, taking into account how that particular third-party test is known to score.

An alternative route to seeing how you're doing in quant is to consider your practice question accuracies. If you're achieving higher accuracy in a number of quant topics, then you're making progress.

For some insights into how to practice for the GMAT for best results, see this post.

Scandi00, I can totally understand your frustration.
last time this issue was prevalent in end of July- start of august, a lot of people had posted on the forum.
I had personally experienced this, and when I contacted GMAC about the same, they replied a couple of days later that the issue was resolved. and if not then I should clear the cookies on my browser and then try.

I agree with what bb and MartyTargetTestPrep are saying, you can try GMATClub tests to check your quant proficiency or even Manhattan Prep tests .

Haven't heard from them yet but hope I will real soon. I only took one GMAT prep so far in the beginning and now another one to see if I've made the progress necessary to book the test. I struggle finding appropriate quant questions similar to those on GMAT, especially on a less advanced level (600-650) which is what I need.

Have you checked out any GMAT quant courses? I do agree with BB, that it may be too soon to take practice GMATs.
