I started studying a while back but I'd say that I've only been consistent since the past 4-5 months. Towards the end of last year, I started out not doing a whole lot but reviewing my basics. For that, I've been using the
Manhattan GMAT books. My math in school was Ok. But even though I did ok I still struggled quite a bit. I understand you completely when you say that, you are unable to be creative in Math. I find myself having this problem sometimes as well. But, just keep practicing- it has helped me. And, i also find that I have to keep reviewing the basics from time to time in order for things to stick. The more they stick, the better you are while solving problems. Hope my 2 cents have helped in some way.
