Hi All,
I am sure many of you have been in my position, but I am feeling so discouraged by this exam and I have already signed up to take the GMAT June 1st. My practice scores are as follows:
1.
MGMAT CAT #1 on 4/29: 530, Q37, V27
2.
MGMAT CAT #2 on 5/6: 650, Q40, V39
3. Veritas CAT Simulator on 5/13: 550, Q30, V34
I felt like I had made great improvement after my second practice test, and that I was on my way to achieving my goal of 700. After this past weekend, I feel like I am so far off and starting from square one. I had a long day on Sunday and took the CAT at 5:00 pm, not very focused, feeling unmotivated, and had to restart due to computer issues. Could this have affected me enough to drop my score 100 points or was my second CAT a fluke?!?
I have been in the Veritas full course for the past month. Over the next two weeks, I plan to review all of the Manhattan Quant books, as well as go through the OG 12th Edition. I can devote probably at least 40 hours of study time within the next 2 weeks, and still take the few days prior to the test off from reviewing. I feel very comfortable with verbal, even though my last score doesn't reflect that, but I think my mindset/lack of focus affected that score.
Any input is appreciated. It is so hard not to let this test get the best of you, and I can't get the thought out of my mind that I am going to fail on June 1st and be so miserable until I can take the test again!!
