After studying verbal for a few months, this meme has confused me a little.
From what I understand, "fewer" is used with countable nouns and "less" is used with uncountable nouns. So, is "you" countable? What am I missing here? One you, Two you, Three you, doesn't make sense in my head. On the other hand (at least in my head), "of you" seems to be countable One of you, two of you, three of you.....
If this phrase was included in a SC problem, I would eliminate "less people" not because of a countable/uncountable error, but rather a meaning issue ("less of you" could mean that someone is missing an arm or leg)

Might be good to stick with Official SCs. Daresay it's fine to suppose "Fewer of you" is better than "Less of you", but on the SC even "I'd expected..." is a little suspect!
