Here,
total customers of 15 theaters is 600*15 = 9000
As, the customers remain same, so, now total customers = 9000
And, 6 theaters are closed, so, remaining are =9
Average customers = 9000/9
----------------- = 1000

The total attendance for the 15 theaters is 15 x 600.

We can let the average attendance for the remaining theaters = n and create the following equation:

15 x 600 = 9n

5 x 600 = 3n

5 x 200 = n

1,000 = n

Answer: C
