Thank you for your kind support. I recently undertook a retake of the test and achieved a score of 770. However, the score was cancelled due to usually score gain and mere speculation without having a evidentiary proofs. It is pertinent to note that GMAC cannot cancel a score without sufficient evidence. It is highly unlikely that GMAC will discontinue online testing as the company has experienced significant growth in online exams in India, leading to an increased revenue and profit margin of over 60% when compared to test centres. Unfortunately, GMAC has made some unjust decisions towards test takers in India and around the world, which have been ignored by government authorities. In this regard, we are contemplating to establish a regulatory body over GMAC in India. The objective of this regulatory body is to ensure that students' intellectual and fundamental rights are respected and upheld. It is imperative to note that the fight against this system is not just for myself but for every student whose rights have been disregarded. We believe this is a significant issue that must be addressed urgently, and we are confident that we will emerge victorious in this matter. We aim to create a transparent system in which students' scores are judged solely based on their intellectual abilities, and fairness is maintained at all times.

I will help you to file a case against GMAC for sure. Drop me personal mail or in chat box.

Yes, I have created an account not to post this, but to create awareness about unfair justice by GMAT to students. Someone has to do something right.

That outcome would be good to see.

I think one of the best things they could do is allow people suspected of cheating merely because of score or performance discrepancies to retake the GMAT without a fee in a test center within a certain time period.

For example, when I was in high school, someone was suspected of cheating on the SAT, partly because his score increased by an unusual amount. They cancelled the score but allowed him to retake the SAT in a private room.

I miss the topic when it was posted. I’m sorry about that.

I think there could be quite a few benefits from transparency and ownership of the product. It would be good to have some responsibility and authority that can take the side of the test taker. So many times I see people who test is canceled due to technical reasons even before they step their foot into the test center and then they have to spend days and sometimes weeks Calling GMAC and test center company who point fingers to each other. It’s a huge waste of time.

About the suspicion of the test and canceling the score, I think the fair thing would be is if there is a suspicion, it would be nice to give a free retake. I don’t think these situations are that common to take a huge dent in the test Budget at the same time, I would save the retake is within the standard error which I think is about 30 or 40 points on the classic GMAT, the higher of the two scores should be used and if it’s lower than that then the lower score I guess because sometimes you do get a nice high score and the retake is not optimal because your deadlines are almost there and you have other commitments and so and so forth …

That it would

It would be hypocritical on any product in such a case the GMAT to make someone feel unwelcome and others not so much.

Hi

please reach out to me it happened the same to me

KrishnaVadlamudi
My name is Krishna Vadlamudi, I’m bring this in light to GMAT Forum that I'm filing a Legal court case against GMAT in India because of their bossy nature in score cancellation. Let me give a quick introduction, I have booked my GMAT online exam & when I started my exam, the GMAT Website was completely down & They marked my exam as “No show”. Later informed GMAT about this issue, they told me to reach Examity. when I reached Examity, they told me to reach GMAT again. This clearly shows that there is a lack of transparent communication between Examity and GMAT. At that time, it was a very hard for me to make decision weather should I wait or else book another exam. eventually I lost hope, and I booked another exam. Going through this stressful condition I could not focus well & ended up scoring very low. Later I got a voucher code for the ticket which I raised earlier on. Despite of having all the information that I have completed my exam successfully, they issued a Voucher code, indirectly forced me to take the exam again. So, in this regard I dropped the mail to GMAT explaining the whole situation & reason for the low score and requested them to provide an update on the Voucher code which they have issued for the retesting. I didn’t get any respond from GMAT. So, I respected their decision & completed my GMAT and scored 770. Immediately after that, my exam was flagged and after few days my scores was cancelled without proper explanation. When I submitted my appeal after reading the whole GMAT policies and procedure still there is no proper explanation for the cancellation of score. Later I approached my lawyer and sent a legal notice to GMAT asking for proper explanation for score cancellation. Even for that legal notice they didn't respond well & not providing any clarity or details all we heard is “good faith”. So, we went one step further & send another legal notice again in compliance with the GMAT policies and procedures, despite of these many efforts they told us that there is unusual score gain & also some technical issue. We questioned the GMAT if there is a technical issue during exam why Procter has not terminated my exam? Second question we raised if student cannot score high considering having a low score, then why they are giving option for the students to take exam online or why they are not informing students prior taking the test? Still, they failed to provide any proper explanation for those questions and even banned me for online exam for one year. Considering all the facts we would like to fight this case in High Court to teach lesson to GMAT, that they can’t cancel student scores just because they didn’t believe. Scores are given based on their intellectual properties rather than their courtesy. Yes, I have read many cases the student scores are cancelled without proper explanation. So, I request the students who faced this issue with the GMAT can reach out to me so, that we will bring these cases also to court for justice. we will file your appeal also in the court. I also want to teach a learn to GMAT, that everyone organisation should respect Moral & Fundamental right of every student. I lost my dream school deadline because of this issue. I hope many of you also lost it. I will fight for justice irrespective of time. Someone should fight for justice representing every student, I have taken that responsibility & confident that we are going to win this case. They shouldn’t play with students lives. I request whoever faced this problem please join in this case. I request your support to fight this battle. Please come forward & join me in this battle for justice. Jai Bharat Jai Hind!
