Well,
I am done. I'm certainly not an over achiver but I'll be quite happy with my new score.. If that is not gonna get me in then it's just not meant to be. THis time I got 640 80%ile Q40:61%ile V 37 83%ile. A 100 point increase from my first try.
I found that Princeton review was usefull to a point. But everytime I did CAT the bloody same questions would show up. In practive I got a 750, but I had done and reviewed 3/4 of the questions the day before.
Do not forget to revie a question.
Barrons was also useful as you can focus on certain types of questions.
But he CAT is awful.
Petersons was good but it is limited in it's math explaination.
I downloaded "Demystifying Algebra: Mcgrawl Hill". That was the major reason for my increased Q score.
I made math flash cards with all the little rules on them and the times table, decimils, fractions, roots etc. Then when I had down time at work I would review them.
I hardly did any work on the Verbal. I found all the materials I used were much harder than the actual test. I was getting V scores in the 29/32 range.
I also went out and drank a few beers the night before and relaxed. Woke up early had my daily cup o coffee and then wrote the test.
