hi

m+n = e+y+z+4; we know e+z =10 nad y+4 =-5 => y =-9
so m+n = 10+4-9 =6

ans is 5

y + 4 = -5
so y = -9

y + f = -4
so f = 5

Z + 5 = 5
so z = 0

z+ 4 = m
so m = 4

z+ e = 10
so e = 10

y + 10 = n
so n = 1

thus n + m = 1 + 4 = 5

Stupid me, my answer is also 5 , addition mistake 10+4-9 =5 , i have given it as 6.

but just curious, the method i mentioned isnt it straight forward than calculating all these. nothing to offend , just your opinion. after all we all do good work here

Oh yes, indeed its an easier method.

No offense taken at all
I am used to of solving tabular questions that are usually so complex that they cannot be done so easily, so I didn't even try to find out the simpler method and jumped to my "tried n tested" method (which actually is pretty quick for me, but may not be for others)

And I didnt see your method, because first i solved it my way, and found your answer not matching with mine. so i assumed (without checking your method) that you answered it wrong.

Your approach is cool. (I don't mind the negligent mistake.)
