There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:
Sometimes the table will have many values, and they ask a question related to the median. If the question is nasty, sorting on the column alone may not be enough, as you may need to filter out some values based on other columns. Anyone have any good tips/tricks to share? How do you efficiently answer these questions?

Yeah an example would be great. But usually those tables aren't so long that it's not possible to count manually while keeping an eye on the other "filtering" column. And don't forget that you only need to get to the halfway mark. I haven't come across any question where this wasn't reasonably doable.
The question I was referring to is 001381 from the OG Online Question Bank.

So in this question alone, I had to find 4 different median values. I felt my process was error-prone, but perhaps this is something that comes with practice?
