I just started studying for the GMAT again, and I'm looking to study better this time. Last time I was in between semesters at school, working my internship, a freelance position, and trying to network/apply for internships and job hiring cycles that started in the fall. I was busy and decided to cram a lot of studying in a month. I took the first two practice exams within a week, watched all the free GMAT Ninja videos on youtube that I could in the next 2 weeks, then did more practice exams and cramming in the final week leading up to the exam. I scored a 690 (46Q, 38V, 7IR, and 6AWR), which wasn't bad, but it was below my final two official practice exams. Either way, I burnt myself out.
Now I want to try again to get a higher %ile score with actual healthy and focused studying techniques. I just took a baseline last weekend on the Official Focus Practice Exam 1 to see where I was after not studying any GMAT work for over a year. I got a 605 (79Q, 78DI, and 83V). As you can see, I need the most help with Quant. I'm looking to take the test in May (4 months), and maybe again after that later in the summer (July/August) so I can have the choice to apply to graduate programs this fall/winter for fall 2025 enrollment.
What are the best resources for learning the quant concepts, fundamentals, and application?- I already bought the OG Focus Edition, and I have the OG 2021-22 Quant Book
- Historically, I don't struggle with math; I do really well in math courses, statistics, finance, etc. but I swear I've forgotten a lot of these concepts and do poorly on GMAT-style math
- I'm willing to pay for materials and courses, but I do care about value. My budget is not unlimited
- I've read a lot on here, but it's hard to sort through recommendations for other people. I know TTP,
Magoosh, Manhattan exists, but I'm not sure what's best for me (quant focus, concepts, understanding when to apply quant concepts on which problems)
(also if I'm posting this in the wrong forum category, just let me know! I'm new to GMAT club)
