Either of the dates is fine by me
or

Either of the dates is fine with me

and why?

People use both but I think 'fine with me' is the proper form.

I think 'fine by me' is a more colloquial usage where as 'fine with me' is more grammatically sound..

key words here are 'I THINK' though...hehe...because i'm not sure

Venkat - don't be concerned with such small differences. ETS is going to cover its back with a better reason than this!
