I just finished doing all the questions in the og 11th quant section. For those who have taken the test, would you say that the first 2/3 of the PS AND DS are representative of the first 15 questions?

Not at all. The concepts are the same but the questions on the real exam will test them in a much harder way. OG is too simple.

Hes right. I realize now why the OG math problems are much easier than those in the GMAT. This is because those in the GMATPrep were orignally from the paper tests. You either had 25min for 20 questions or 20min for 16 questions.

Now you have about 2min per question, so its quite different.

if thats the case, then how does one go about getting some "real" practice for the GMAT?

I found Manhattan CAT tests very useful. You get 6 tests with purchase of any Manhattan GMAT book.

I felt in OG Quantitative, all of the questions are similarly on the easy side, EXCEPT for the last 15 or so in each entire section. The last few DS were particularly brutal, I got less than 1/2 right on those the first time through. These last few ARE representative of the difficulty of the highest level real GMAT, imho. The real GMAT does not save the hardest for last, it spreads them out and certainly you will see some of the harder questions in the first 15.

For verbal, I felt the hard questions were scattered throughout, not concentrated at the end at all.
